Horsing around with Spheres

Tips and Techniques

Air
Objective:
To create a model using only one primitive. Here I've used only sphereoids to create a Horse/unicorn.

Fire
Tip:
Break the form of Horse into simpler constituent primitive shapes and forms. Then get spheres together to create the forms

Step 2: Multirep spheres to approximate the “primitives”.
Step 3: Assemble each of the body areas separately and then group them.
Step 4: Bring the groups together to create the animal.

Finishing off:
Its in multireplicating the spheres to form fine parts like the strands of mane, hooves etc, which takes the most amount of experimentation as also patience. I created the tail by attaching the spheres to a path.
I created this in Bryce, but am sure you will be able to replicate the same with any software using primitives...provided you are mad enough to want to attempt it in the first place.
