Brief:
Doppler is a brand for public performance
audio equipment. The brief was to create
a logo which would be trendy and appeal
to its clientele of public performers. Yet
the logo would be able to set up recall
and differentiate the brand from other public
performance equipment brands such as 'Santosh',
'Ahuja'. The brand should look more contemporary
and trendy, as against the dowdy perception
which exists for public performance audio
equipments.
The logo would have to be such that it could
be printed in a single colour (both positive
as well as negative on equipment), multiple
colour as also by offset. |

Creative
Strategy:
The visual would have to be something which
the Target Audience would be able to identify
at once. Thus depicting a recognisable posture
of a performer create both identity, identification
as also slot the brand for the market it
sought to address. |

Execution:
Arranged the letters of doppler so
that it formed a guitar. The lines of 'd',
'p' and 'l' denoting both the action of
performance as also the straps of the guitar.
Also hoped to impart the feeling of an equalizer
with the arrangement of strokes and circles
which formed doppler.
The triangle was meant to signify peak performance. |
