Brief:
Art Quest in a non-profit NGO which is into
sourcing and selling handicrafts made by
destitute women and children. The proceeds
of which go to the funding of organisations
which care for such downtrodden women. Yet
the identity created was meant to appeal
to the sense of aesthetics as against evoking
sympathy or categorising the organisation
as any other NGO.
The primary aim of the organisation being,
to sell handicrafts meant for decorative
use. |

Creative
Strategy:
The sense of hope needed to be conveyed
as also the sense of freedom along with
the sense of creation.
Decided to use the Sun as a symbol, and
depict the activity as a window of opportunity. |

Execution:
Decided to give the logo a silk-screen printed
feel. Thus colour was used in blocks and
broad stroke, yet retain the feeling of
a painting. |
