Roi, in French means 'the King'.
Horror, is a genre which doesnt come easy to me. When
I visualise, I raely visualise 'horror' images. Yet
Horror does form a part of the Fantasy and Sci-Fi
story telling. This was my first attempt to create
a 'horror' image.
I tried to use known symbology of the genre (horns,
claws, skeletal form, fangs, glowing eyes) without
ctreating a 'creature' per se.
Influenced by Geiger's work. Though there's more than
a passing resemblence to Phantom sitting on his skull
throne. |
