The Shuttle

3D model : Shuttle

Air
The Idea:
The Shuttle was born out of playing around. The concept was to create a plane which was a cross between a helicopter, a small passenger/cargo plane and a hyper-space plane. In terms of design wanted to create a synthesis between organic and mechanical.

Fire
Inspiration:
The Space shuttle, helicopters like Eucriel, Dauphin , the Harrier variants

Water
The Story:
Had been thinking of a spaceport / remote air pad and was thinking up what could serve the purpose of supplying to the ATNs from low orbiting mother ships. Thus this V/STOL craft was born. It's capable of both rocket and air breathing propulsion. Has two set of engines. One placed at the top, whose main purpose is flight.
Second set of engines are near the undercarriage. Their main purpose being for take-off and short landing. The engines have swivel/thrust vector nozzles.
The wings and tail are capable of swinging back. This serves two fold purpose. Parking in constricted space (much like aircrafts on an aircraft carrier) and secondly offering low crossection while re-entering atmosphere.

Earth
The Execution:
Modelled completely in Bryce through primitive and boolean ops. This's yet to be used in a complete illustration.
